Financial Consultant
Are you passionate about innovation and accounting?
We are seeking a Financial Consultant with a strong interest in tax planning and accounting to join our team. We will provide you the training you need to help our clients navigate CRA SR&ED guidelines and recover their tax credit.
Key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively as a member of our professional services team.
- Meet with clients’ senior financial personnel to develop costing models for R&D projects.
- Prepare and/or review related tax schedules ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Research client issues that arise from compliance or planning work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 year of Canadian experience and/or training in tax preparation and planning.
- Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience or interest in process development, business development or marketing/budget planning
- Ability to communicate with client personnel at all levels of management.
